Brass (H62/H65 alloy) naturally resists oxidation and rust when exposed to water, laundry detergents, and high humidity during fabric processing. Unlike iron, brass does not require continuous protective coatings to prevent oxidation, meaning it retains its appearance over years of washing. It is also softer and more ductile than steel, reducing wear on automated assembly machinery during the installation process.
